InterfaceFLOR's System Six® is easy to install yet with the advantage of creating a completely impermeable backing to offer an extended lifecycle in the challenging aged care environment.
The multi-layered backing provides high dimensional stability and durability. The design prevents the wrinkling/rucking, edge ravel, shrinking or stretching associated with other carpet products, due to constantly moving equipment, spills and cleaning regimes. InterfaceFLOR carpets are made from solution-dyed nylon fibre (colour solid throughout fibre), rather than post-fibre production dyed. As a result, the product will not lose colour vibrancy with extreme wear, cleaning agents or spills of pharmaceuticals, food or bodily fluid. In exceptional circumstances that cause severe damage, sections of System Six® can be replaced to further extend the lifecycle. InterfaceFLOR offers a 15-year warranty against excessive surface wear, colour fade, edge-ravel, backing separation, shrinking, stretching and static electricity.
