InterfaceNZ has always practiced what it preaches around sustainability. Another great example is our Christmas party for 2007. Working with the Department of Conversation and the Motutapu Trust we set forth with 30 employees and family to weed a large area of a regenerating bush block. The weather was fantastic and the canopy of the forest offered excellent and welcome shade.

Our main target was moth weed, a noxious pest that gets to the top of the canopy and strangles the plants it rests on. The photos show the team at work and having an afternoon of fun in the surf. We finished with a beach clean up filling up 5 large clean sacks of plastic, nets, cans, bottles and other flotsam and jetsam that our boat faring kiwis need to learn to dispose of more carefully.
